The Pace dialup network connections will be decommissioned on July 15, 2008. After this date, dialing into Pace for Internet access will not be available. most colleges have taken steps to turn off dialup capability since users can now obtain broadband connectivity (i.e., Cable Modem, DSL, FiOS).
Those dialup users who need to work on Pace internal systems can obtain a free copy of the VPN Client software. This software allows you to connect to Pace from home to work on internal systems using an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Just bring a blank CD-R to your local CRC to obtain the VPN Client Software.
