Several students, faculty , and staff have been experiencing issues connecting their Macs with OS X Leopard to the Pace Wireless Network. In speaking with Apple they have indicated this is a widespread issue that has been occurring with various wireless networks. Unfortunately there is no immediate fix but Mac engineers will be working on developing a solution that will be released in future updates.
Please note that this issue does not exist for all Mac users. Several examples have been recorded of Mac Os X Leopard users being able to connect to the Pace Wireless Network without incident.
The best advise we can give at this time is to make sure you have the latest updates (Currently 10.5.1) for the operating system. Obtaining these can be done by clicking on Software Update which is located under system preferences.
